Celebrities Including Celine Dion Refuses To Perform At Trump’s Inauguration Ceremony
This opportunity that everyone would think is a dream come true are been scoffed up by many, as tons of celebrities turn down the invitation to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony. Among the stars are Celin Dion. who declined when approached by Trump ally and Las Vegas hotelier Steve Wynn to perform.
Simon Renshaw who manages the The Dixie Chicks band, told TheWrap that their hit “Not Ready to Make Nice” should be the anthem of every entertainer dealing with Trump. He said of anyone who agrees to perform: “I hope that the check that they get is in the nine figures. Because it’s probably the last check they’re ever going to get.”
Country singer Garth Brooks rejected the invite from Trump’s team to perform.
Andrea Bocelli met with Trump and agreed to perform, have to fail to deliver due to pressure from fans who do not support the idea.

David Foster also declined an offer to organize Trump’s inaugural festivities after Page Six reported that the music producer, 67, was scheduled to arrange the performers. “I was invited to participate and I politely declined,” Foster said in a statement to Us Weekly on December 17. “I have no idea where this story came from. Neither me nor my manager was ever contacted by Page Six or any other media outlet.”
So far, The only person confirmed to perform at the event so far is Jackie Evancho, a 16-year-old “America’s Got Talent” 2010 runner up, he was first discovered by Canadian songwriter and music producer David Foster. She is set to sing the national anthem before Trump takes the oath of office.
Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony is to be held on Friday, January 20, in Washington, D.C.
